Terms of Service

1. Who can use Hourly

Hourly is open to students (ages 11–18), adult requesters (18+), school administrators, and parents or guardians. Students under 13 must have a parent or guardian approve their account before they can book any tasks.

2. What Hourly is

Hourly is a platform that connects students seeking service hours with adults who need help with tasks. We are not an employer. We do not pay students — all work is voluntary service. Requesters do not pay students through Hourly.

3. Safety rules

All requesters are reviewed by an admin before they can post tasks. Students under 13 may only be matched with tasks where the requester confirms an adult will be present. Any user can file a safety flag at any time. Suspicious activity should be reported immediately using the flag button on any task page.

4. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your password secure. Do not share your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. Hours verification

Hours logged through Hourly are subject to approval by your school verifier. Hourly does not guarantee that hours will be accepted by any school, NHS chapter, or other organization.

6. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Hourly after changes are posted means you accept the new terms.
